| Well another semester at MU is down. One more year to go! Can you believe it? I think this is the earliest in the morning I have ever updated! Yes, I woke up at 6:30AM! I start my second day of orientation for my summer job this morning. This time I am actually going to be at the hotel. Yesterday, was a long boring day trying to make us "Hershey Park Happy" I am excited to start a new job at the Hershey Hotel, but a part of me wants to just go back to Seaman's Market where I worked for 2 years. It’s comfortable there and I know how to do the job. I guess God wants to teach me more lessons here. It’s been quite the summer for them already.
The UCF Peru Team is headed off tonight! Make sure you keep them in your prayers in the next two weeks. I came up with a prayer e-mail of requests and scripture to pray while the team is in Peru. If you want a copy of the e-mail give me a holla' Natalie and I went to Elta's on Sunday night to pray for the trip. Wow, it was awesome! Besty got out her anointing oil and went crazy! What else is new? Natalie smelled like a candle factory when she was done with her. I am so excited to see what God has in store for this team. I just think of what he did with our team when we went to the Bowery Mission. And that was just in New York!
I am so blessed to have Elta and Besty in my life! It’s hard to believe that two of my best friends are 60-year-old ladies, but yeah well....We are planning on doing a Bible study together called "Breaking Free" by Beth Moore. It goes through the book of Isaiah (go figure) and talks about breaking free of the bondages we hold on to in life. I am really excited about this study; I just ordered the books this morning! I am sure I will have lots to share from that!
Wow! I have alot of work to do for Women's Ministry....after talking with Kris and Duane a couple of days before I left I felt so much better about the role I am supposed to be taking. I must admit being a "leader" of something scares me half to death, but I have so many ideas that I am bursting at the seams! The three things that the Lord put on my heart are Accountability, Discipleship, and Outreach. I feel that God put people on my heart that could fit into these categories. I just have to keep praying and see what God does over the summer. Elta said that I could set up a little office at her house so I could work without any interruptions! I am so thankful for that. I am planning on starting on things next week, developing a vision, mission statements, doing alot of studying, and ALOT of praying.
Well, I have to get ready for work! AHHHH! Here we go!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

| WOW!!!!!! I LOVE GOD!!!! I have a very long week! But Christ Reigns!!!!!! <>< More to come.... | | |
| Well, I have a spare couple of min. What an awesome week! It seems daily God is revealing himself to me, in new and exciting ways! I just want to encourage everyone to try to take a Tuesday evening and go to House of Prayer (HOP) in New Holland. This place is a truly anoited House of God, and the ministry team....they are great! They have a real passion for Lancaster County, and they seek Gods heart as the core of their mission.
Last night FUMC had a Maundy Thursday service. It was more formal than that of UCF, alot of unison readings and prayer. Pastor Duane gave the message, focusing on Jesus washing the disciples feet (Even Judas!) That really spoke to my spirit...Could I do that? At the end of the service Pastor Steve striped the alter in rememberance of what Christs death did for the Body of Christ and our own personal salvation. It was powerful.
Well, in a couple of min I will be off to go on the UCF camping trip! I am so exicted. I need this trip so badly.....no distractions....What better way to spend Good Friday? Being in the wilderness, like Jesus in the garden....
I pray that everyone has a blessed Easter! HE HAS RISEN!

| - Wait Upon the Wind This weekend was defantly a learning experience to say the least, but God remains faithful through it all. God has placed me in a new season and it isn't very pretty or nice, but again God remains faithful. Thank you Lord.
God lead me to Is 27, 28, and 29. I have been reading these verses over and over again. Is 27:12. says, "Yet the time will come when the LORD will gather them together one by one like handpicked grain. He will bring them to his great threshing floor--from the Euphrates River in the east to the brook of Egypt in the west. In that day the great trumpet will sound. Many who were dying in exile in Assyria and Egypt will return to Jerusalem to worship the LORD on this holy mountain." So the Lord dubbed this new season: "On the Threshing Floor." He is capturing every part of me, every part of my heart, until I am fully His. I realize that this judging isn't to punish me for any reason, in fact it is an direct answer to my prayers...Lord, you are enough....Father, empty me....Jesus, I must decrease for you to increase....
On Friday night, the LORD answered these prayers in a way I wasn't expecting. He said, "Ok, Missy...you want all of me, then this is what you must do. This is what you must give up. This is where you are lazy." It was a night of rependence and brokeness. Is. 28: 12-13 "God's people could have rest in their own land if they would only obey him but they would not listen. So the LORD will spell out his message for them again, repeating it over and over, a line at a time, in very simple words. Yet they will stumble over this simple, straightforward message. They will be injured, trapped, and captured."
I praise the Lord that he is gentle enough not to completly wreck me, without giving me purpose and hope for what is to come. He is better eqipping me for fruitful service. This was again confirmed through the words of Isaiah.
Is 28:16 "Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem. It is firm, a tested and precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never run away again, and will not be dissapointed."
Is 29: 17-24: " Soon-and it will not be very long --the wilderness of Lebanon will be a fertile field once again. And the fertile fields will bcome a lush and fertile forecest. In that day deaf people will hear words read from a book, and blind people will see through the gloom and darkness. The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the LORD. Those hwo are poor will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Those who intimidate and harass will be gone, and all those who plot evil will be killed. Those who make the innocent guilty by their false testimony will disappear. And those who use trickery to pervert justice and tell lies to tear down the innocent will be no more. That is why the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, says to the people of Israel, 'My people will no longer pale with fear or be ashamed. For when they see their many children and material blessings, they will recognize the hiliness of the HOly One of Israel. They will stand in awe of the God of Israel. Those in error will then believe the trugh m and those who constandtly complain will accept instruction."
Jason Upton-- I Will Wait
I will wait for You, Jesus You’re the sun in my horizon All my hope’s in you, Jesus I can see you now arising There’s a wall that stands in front of me That I know I just can’t climb But like an eagle you will carry me It’s just a matter of your time
An evil army’s all around me Another wall that is in my way But I believe the word you promised me So I will wait another day

| I told myself that I was only going to update twice a week, and here I go! I am being sucked in by the "force" of xanga that I keep hearing about. ...I must....keep....updating....
Yesterday morning I woke up feeling sick, and I mean sick. I haven't felt that way in a long, long time. I didn't go to my two morning classes, and drug myself to my Nursing class because I had a presentation. PMS as a Criminal Defense....interesting I know. After lunch, I just wanted to sleep all day long, but I had this urge to just study the Word. I was lead to I Chronicles of all books! Chapter 21: 18-30, 22:1 talks about David and the temple. Earlier in Chapter 17, God tells David that he will not be the chosen one to rebuild the temple, but his son will hold the honor (Solomon). However, David (after learning many hard lessons) was lead to the place where the Temple will be built. It was on a threshing floor. Now, I had no idea what a threshing floor was... for those of you who don't as well, allow me to explain. At the center of the threshing floor, two large stones, one resting on the top of the other. They were fitted and joined together. A threshing floor was used during the harvest (usually of wheat), separating kernels of grain by force. After more studying, symbolically I found two meanings of the threshing floor:
1.) It is the symbolic relationship b/t the Bride and Bridegroom. (Ruth and Boaz met on the threshing floor: Ruth 3 6-14).
2.) Worship is the act of threshing, in which God separates the wheat from the chaft.
It made sense to why God lead me to this study, because those are the two areas in my life where I am seeing release and change. God is drawing me in deeper, a deeper intimacy with Him! God then lead me to Jeremiah 51:33 which says: "For the LORD Almighty, The God of Israel says: 'Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin." Babylon (as Bekah L. shared with me) is the Jezebel sprit of control, rebellion, and manipulation. The Harvest will soon begin...what a hope that gave me and I pray gives you too! Btw, I wasn't sick for very long after that...
Care group last night was awesome as we studied the Book of Mark. God allowed me to share with the group a verse that he had given me last week. "The stone rejected by builders will now become a cornerstone."--Psalm 118:22. Jill closed the meeting, praying for Diehm and the Body of Christ. It was awesome! I am excited to see what God is going to do!
After Care-Group Rump, Jill, Ryan and I went shopping at WAL-MART for our care-groups Easter basket kids. Our childs name is Austin and he is 2 months old. lol....oh my, shopping for a 2 month old can get pretty interesting. . The notion that you can find EVERYTHING at WAL-MART was again confirmed for me. We found demon-possessed rabbits, stuffed animal Eggplants, Babies "Firsts" Laptop and cell-phone, and finally diaper rash ointment called "Bonderx Butt Paste." . Who would buy a product called "Butt Paste?" Ryan and I also discovered that Care-Bears are Back! Finally some cool toys are being made once again! My favorite care-bear was Grumpy Bear. Who was yours?

Hope everyones week is going well and blessed in the Lord!
